Ouaddou confident of keeping Orlando Pirates Starlet Mofokeng

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has voiced his confidence in the club’s ability to retain rising star Relebohile Mofokeng, despite the unpredictability of the transfer market.

Mofokeng, one of South Africa’s most exciting young talents, has been the subject of transfer speculation following a string of impressive performances. However, Ouaddou remains calm and optimistic about the midfielder’s future with the Buccaneers.

“As a coach, I continue to be confident in our capacity to retain him. Although the unpredictable nature of football means that one must always be prepared for unexpected developments, at present, my confidence remains intact,” said Ouaddou.

His comments come amid growing interest in Mofokeng from clubs abroad, but Ouaddou’s assurance will likely ease concerns among Pirates supporters. The club appears determined to continue developing the 19-year-old within their setup, reinforcing their long-term vision.
