Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has called on the club’s supporters to remain patient as his side works to align performances with results.
Reflecting on the team’s recent outing, Ouaddou highlighted the positives, noting that his players had shown “big character” and “some strength.” He praised their attacking intent and willingness to create chances, stressing that the squad has displayed “decency to play forward.”
However, the coach admitted that results have not reflected the team’s efforts on the pitch. “Sometimes it’s not easy because the results have to match the performance. At the moment, the results are not matching with the performance of the boys,” he said.
Ouaddou acknowledged the expectations that come with leading a club of Pirates’ stature, but appealed to the fanbase for understanding. “I just pray that our fans are patient. I know this is a big club, but I hope they will be patient with us,” he added.
The coach remains optimistic that the team will soon find balance between strong displays and positive outcomes. For now, he hopes the Sea Robbers’ faithful will trust the process as the players continue to grow under his guidance.
