Thirty South African agro-processing companies from six provinces are showcasing their locally produced products at the Anuga 2025 Food and Beverage Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany. The event, which runs from October 4 to 8, 2025, provides these companies with an opportunity to strike significant trade deals and get access to the European market.

With assistance from the Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition, the businesses are showcasing cutting edge goods including ready-to-drink juices, honeybush tea, and vegetable based coffee, all of which are meant to promote South Africa’s superior manufacturing and increase export led growth.

The participation is part of a larger national strategy to expand export markets, encourage industrialization, and create jobs at home.
