Hotel Denies Lerato Kganyago Ownership Claims

Media personality Lerato Kganyago has been cleared of ownership links to 12 On Hillel Villa & Spa, the hotel confirms.

The management of 12 On Hillel Villa & Spa has publicly denied allegations that media celebrity Lerato Kganyago owns or has a part in the luxurious establishment. The statement was made on Tuesday, following increased suspicion and testimony before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry linking Kganyago to the property.
The hotel’s management acknowledged in a statement that corporate documents from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) reveal no indication of Kganyago’s involvement as a director, shareholder, or owner.
“Lerato Kganyago is not the owner of 12 On Hillel Villa & Spa, nor does she hold any ownership interest in the property. Any previous suggestions to the contrary, including those circulating on social media since 2022, are inaccurate and outdated,” according to the statement.
The management further explained that Amour Restaurant, owned by Kganyago and located on hotel grounds, functions as an independent organization with its own leasing agreement. The restaurant is fully compliant with all applicable business and regulatory standards and operates independently of the hotel management.
The hotel expressed concern that misleading linkages could harm reputations, emphasizing its commitment to transparency and collaboration with authorities.
