When mentioning a couple goals, Dr Musa Mthombeni and his wife Liesl Laurie Mthombeni should be part of your list. What could have been a normal Wednesday for the medical doctor and media personality has turned into celebrating 46 months of his marriage with the former Miss South Africa 2015.

Taking to Instagram, the doctor shared how a single ‘DM’ changed his reality forever. “If you hadn’t responded to that dm many months ago, today would be a Wednesday but because you did, it’s our monthiversary. It is because you replied to that DM that I now get the chance to give you foot rubs and kiss your ouchies when you get hurt.

It is because you replied to that DM I now get to wake you up when you sleep on the couch at 18:30 and vehemently deny being asleep when even the TV characters know you were sleeping!,” he jokingly shared. He added to his heartfelt message by thanking the CEO of Meta, for introducing the concept of social media, stating “Thank you Mark Zuckerberg for my wife. You will forever be famous.”

The young couple tied the knot in 2021 and have since been one of South Africa’s beloved celebrity couples, sharing their incredible journey with their fans on social media. Fans and followers poured in with their comments and sentiments, wishing the couple a beautiful union and marriage.
