ActionSA to Protest Corrupt Officials Threatening National Security

On Thursday, 10 July 2025, ActionSA will stage a protest outside the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Headquarters of the South African Police Service (SAPS) at 11:00 AM. The party is calling for urgent action against corruption within the police force and government, in response to explosive allegations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
ActionSA’s demonstration aims to defend Lt-Gen Mkhwanazi, who has publicly raised serious concerns about political interference and corruption threatening the country’s security and criminal justice system.
“We stand united in calling for an urgent investigation into the serious allegations he has made against politicians. We will protect Mkhwanazi against any political interference and intimidation,” said ActionSA KwaZulu-Natal Chairperson Zwakele Mncwango.
Mncwango said, Mkhwanazi will be defended as long as he continues to stand with South Africans and defends us against criminals.
The protest is a call for accountability, with ActionSA urging government structures to act swiftly to restore the integrity of SAPS and protect whistleblowers like Mkhwanazi who speak out against corruption.
