EFF liberates Seshego ward 13 again

The Economic Freedom Fighters have retained ward 13 on by-elections in Seshego under Polokwane Municipality on the 16 of July. This was after their former councilor was expelled for not attending council meetings. Former Ward 13 Cllr, Mafiwa Leballo was expelled by the Polokwane Council this year. Following allegations of not attending council meetings and resulted into by-elections.

Ward 13 is the home of EFF Commander-in-Chief, Julius Malema. He was present to cast his vote as he is a registered voter. Speaking to the media, Malema encouraged people to attend by-elections, as the turnaround affects them. “The turnout around by-elections is very low. So, I thought it was important for me to come and show the significance of by-elections,” said Malema.
Provincial Chairperson of EFF in Limpopo, Lawrence Mapoulo stated that ward 13 a liberated zone where opposition parties would never succeed in liberating it. He added that, “we will now have monthly reports in order to track public raps that are lazy and not working.”
