Doctor Khumalo on Seema’s Appointment at Siwelele FC

Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo has expressed his support for Lehlohonolo
Seema’s appointment as the new head coach of Siwelele FC. The club, which recently
acquired SuperSport United’s status, has retained some members of Matsatsantsa’s
technical team and assembled a fresh coaching structure led by Seema, with Andre
Arendse as his assistant.

Speaking on SABC’s Soccerzone, Khumalo praised the decision, saying it’s a valuable
opportunity for Seema to prove himself once again. “It’s good to see they did not overhaul
the entire squad,” he noted.

Khumalo also confirmed that former Bafana Bafana striker Mark Williams will join
Siwelele’s technical setup. Williams has been appointed as the head coach of the club’s
DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team, following Roscoe Krielling’s move to Orlando Pirates.

“Mark Williams has earned his coaching credentials in the UK, possibly a UEFA B
Licence,” Khumalo explained. “I spoke to him, and he assured me, ‘Doc, I am qualified.’”

In addition to his DDC responsibilities, Williams is also expected to serve as an advisor
to the club’s chairman, Calvin Le John. Khumalo believes these appointments will
provide the club with a strong foundation as they aim to establish themselves in South
African football.

Siwelele’s new structure is seen as a fresh start, combining experienced football minds
with ambitious plans for the future.
