Embattled Police Minister warns ANC collapse

The criminally accused Police Minister Senzo Mchunu has warned the African National Congress (ANC). Stating that it is on the verge of collapsing, on Saturday in KwaZulu-Natal.

Giving a keynote speech attending a tombstone unveiling, of the late Stalwart Nokuhamba Nyawo. ANC has fulfilled its long-standing promise to honor Nyawo.

A woman who played a vital role during the liberation struggle. A memorial stone was unveiled in her name in Ingwavuma.

According to Times Live, the embattled ANC NEC memeber said that the upcoming elections will be the end of the party. “If we do not win municipalities in the coming elections, come national elections, we will be history,” Mchunu quoted by Times.

The minister stated that the party needs to regroup. He also likened it to a person walking on a cliff.

Mchunu was placed on special paid leave by president Cyril Ramaphosa. After he was accused to be involved in criminal activities, by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
