Singer and actress Kelly Khumalo addresses murder allegations against her late boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa. This comes after Advocate Malesela Teffo was featured on MacG’s Podcast and Chill where he claimed that the 2014 incident that led to the Orlando Pirates goalkeeper being killed was not a robbery but rather a heated moment between the couple which resulted in Kelly Khumalo accidentally shooting him.
In October 2014, the soccer star was murdered at his girlfriend’s home in Vosloorus. According to TimesLIVE, those in the house at that time included Kelly’s sister, Zandile Khumalo, her mom Ntombi, her son Christian, and three of the deceased’s friends. Although tied to the murder, no arrests have been made against the gospel singer.
Kelly posted a video on social media saying that she has had enough of the attorney’s claims, saying that if he strongly believes that she is capable of such, then he should just come and get her. “Enough is enough. It stops here and it stops today. I am not going to be diplomatic about this. I am not going to release press statements; I am not going to waste my money hiring lawyers to speak on my behalf.
If you strongly believe I am capable of what you are accusing me of, very simple, come and get me. I am am not above the law. I am at a point where I have had enough of people dragging my name through the mud. It stops now. The stupid humiliation rituals you have been performing using me over the years, enough. If you feel I am the woman you are coming after, come and get me. I fear no man. Until then, back off.”
