Award-winning gospel singer Xolly Mncwango has officially launched the Xolly Mncwango Foundation, a platform dedicated to helping underprivileged people and inspiring them to aspire above their circumstances. The event took place at Universal Music Group, where the charity launched its mission with a Breast Cancer Awareness Brunch to promote the global campaign.
Guests arrived dressed in pink Unusual Merch to support breast cancer awareness activities. The event gathered survivors, healthcare specialists, and supporters for a day of education, contemplation, and hope.
Attendees were emotionally impacted by compelling breast cancer survivors’ testimonies and learned significant insights from medical specialists, including Dr. Nthabiseng Makgana, CEO of Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. The discussions centered on early detection, prevention, and the significance of awareness in saving lives.
Mncwango spoke during the event on her foundation’s vision of achieving long-term social impact through education, empowerment, and faith-based assistance.
“It is not a charity. This is a purposeful action. “Our mission is to empower individuals, educate communities, and restore dignity through faith, support, and opportunity,” she said.
