In celebration of Women’s Month, we shine the spotlight on Eunice Tsholofelo Kgosiemang, famously known as Du Queen, a dynamic radio personality, DJ, model, and student.

Born in Mafikeng and now based in Sunnyside, Du Queen hosts the popular Tshedimoso show on Mams Radio 92.9, airing weekdays from 10:00 to 14:00.

Although she once dreamed of becoming an accountant, Du Queen’s passion for music led her to the decks, where her talent has flourished. Her career boasts collaborations with industry names such as DJ Sushy, K Sugah, and King Zaph, as well as the release of her own EP. In 2025, she won the 6th Annual MAMA Award for Best DJ.

Du Queen is also the force behind Du Queen Events. This year, she hosted her first Annual Blue Carpet Event a one-woman show at The Village Shisanyama, Mamelodi celebrating her journey and achievements. The event’s blue-and-gold theme will carry into next year’s edition. In July 2025, she launched her first Dance Competition at Masters Lounge, aimed at discovering and mentoring talented dancers, promoting cultural pride, and providing positive alternatives for youth.

Despite challenges like securing sponsorships, with support from brands including Spoonfulbakes, Lionvarage, Deepnight Entertainment, Grant Global Media, and Mams Radio, her events were a resounding success.

Her message is clear: never let anyone dictate your path. Through music, dance, and community empowerment, Du Queen continues to inspire proving that passion, resilience, and vision can turn dreams into reality.
