Nkabane’s middle finger to Portfolio Committee comes to light

Dr Nobuhle Nkabane has handed his resignation letter as Minister of Higher Education. Following allegations of irregular SETA board appointments and misleading Parliament. Deputy Minister Buti Manamela has been appointed to take over the role.

Manamela’s position will be occupied by Former KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube. Dube-Ncube is now the Deputu Minister of Higher Education and Training, taking over from Manamela after he is occupying Nkabane’s place.

Nkabane has been arrogant towards the Portfolio Committee where he was spotted in an interview and chewing a gum. Subsequently, she denied to attend the Portfolio Committee meeting on Friday, July 18. 

She was seen Buffalo City to deliver a keynote address for the Annual National Student Leadership Induction Programme. The now then Minister has shown disrespect to both Parliament, Portfolio Committee, and the Citizens of South Africa.
