Orlando Pirates announce pre-season opponents for Spain Tour

Orlando Pirates have unveiled the lineup of teams they will face during their upcoming pre-season tour in Spain, marking the second consecutive year the club will prepare for the new campaign in Europe.
Despite not yet naming a new head coach, the Buccaneers are moving ahead with their plans, confirming four fixtures as part of their warm-up schedule. The South African side will kick off the tour against English League One club Bolton Wanderers on 11 July.
Next, they will take on Cypriot outfit Pafos FC on 13 July, followed by matches against two Spanish teams. Las Palmas, who recently featured in La Liga, will host the Pirates on 17 July, and the tour will conclude with a clash against Granada FC on 19 July.
This series of international friendlies provides the Pirates with a valuable opportunity to test themselves against European competition ahead of the 2024/25 season.
