Siwelele Club chairman, Calvin Le John, has confirmed the purchase of land in
Bloemfontein as part of an ambitious plan to establish the club’s own headquarters.
Speaking to Siwelele FC supporters, Le John shared his vision of building a football
powerhouse in South Africa.
“I don’t need to make money through football. It’s not about fame. It’s not about money.
We have enough money. For us, we want to build the biggest football club in South
Africa,” Le John stated.
The newly acquired land Is strategically located near the airport, where the club intends
to construct facilities comparable to Naturena, the famous base of Kaizer Chiefs. This
move highlights Siwelele’s commitment to long-term growth and self-sufficiency.
Le John’s announcement signals a bold step towards professionalizing the club’s
operations and infrastructure. By investing in a permanent base, Siwelele aims to
nurture talent, improve player development, and create a strong foundation for future
success.
With financial backing and a clear vision, Siwelele Club is positioning itself as a rising
force in South African football.
