Mamelodi Sundowns are in advanced talks with TS Galaxy over the potential signing of 21-year-old defender Khulumani Ndamane. The highly-rated centre-back has impressed since making his top-flight debut last season, featuring in 27 matches and earning attention from Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos.

TS Galaxy are reportedly open to the move, aligning with their strategy of selling top talent and reinvesting in the squad. Club chairman Tim Sukazi has previously highlighted this model, which has seen the likes of Samukele Kabini and Kamogelo Sebelebele secure moves to Molde FK and Orlando Pirates, respectively.

Sundowns are particularly interested in Ndamane due to his left-footed profile, strong domestic performances, and potential for growth. His arrival would fill the gap left by Argentine defender Lucas Suarez, who returned home after an underwhelming six-month stint.

With Sundowns looking to free up a foreign player slot and bolster their defence with local talent, Ndamane emerges as a perfect fit. Sources confirm that personal terms are being discussed, while both clubs work towards finalizing a transfer fee.

There is also said to be overseas interest in the young defender, mirroring Kabini’s recent move to Europe. However, a deal with the reigning Premiership champions seems most likely at this stage.
