Whatsapp Wars: MKP ousts Floyd Shivambu from WhatsApp group

Just a day before the Former Secretary-General of uMkhonto weSizwe Party, Floyd Shivambu was about to brief the media in Midrand. The MKP, Spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela removed him from the MK Party’s WhatsApp group.

The WhatsApp screenshot has sparked a political scene on social media, where some memebrs call Nhlamulo a “Jukebox Spokesperson.” Amplifying from what Floyd said at his briefing on Thursday. 

“He is still a member moes. Nhlamulo is a clown, but well we all know be was instructed by that old dictator. He has been purging Floyd for long,” a public comment from Samsekelo Maseko’s tweet on X.

Floyd made it clear that he is not gonna resign from the MKP party. Therefore he is prepared to have dual membership. An MKP membership and one of the party he alleges to create “Mayibuye African Party.”

At the moment MK Party spokesperson chose not to comment on the removal of the former SG. The party have not yet issued communication on the matter.

Issac Hlungwana also commented, “His not an official so why must they keep him on officials group.” Shivambu has been breaking news since the demotion from SG position and not enlisted on the party’s Members of Parliament.
